Provillus Review

My Review of Provillus After 6 Months

I’ve been using Provillus for about 6 months now and I thought I’d write up a little review of my experience so that people who are thinking about trying it will be able to make their decision more easily - because back when I first ordered I couldn’t find reviews from real people.

When I first made the decision to try Provillus I was quite weary and didn’t really believe anything on their website because it seems too good to be true almost. I’ve tried several other products in the past with no results at all, like special shampoo’s, liquids, procerin and other pills and didn’t see any change. The bad thing is that it takes so long before you can tell if the product is working or not, so it can take years to find something worth using - If you’re reading this review then you probably know what I mean.

Provillus ResultsThe only thing that helped me decide to try Provillus was the 3 month money back guarantee. So I figured if I didn’t notice anything (which I thought would be the case) I’d just get my money back and move on the next thing. I ordered the 6 month system and it was pretty cheap compared to other things I’ve tried. It arrived at my house after only 3 or 4 days if I recall correctly and I started on a regular routine, making sure I didn’t miss days which I know can screw things up.

After a month it was hard to tell if anything had changed because hair grows so slowly. In 2 months I could definitely notice an improvement on the front of my hairline which had previous receded quite a bit and was now growing back! This was very encouraging.

I kept up the treatments everyday for another 2 months and a lot of my hair had grown back but it was quite fine and whispy at first, but still a really good sign - none of the other products I’d tried had even been able to do that.

Since then the hair has just kept growing (I’ve included some before and after photo’s to the side). I went to get a haircut and it looked a lot thicker after I got that done and the hair that used to be whispy is now normal like the rest of my hair and it’s getting hard to tell that I used to have a bad receding hair-line. The balding patch on the crown of my head is totally covered in hair and I’m hoping in another 6 months that ALL of my hair will be back to how it was when I was 20 years old (I can always dream!)

I’m really happy with the results and I’ll keep taking Provillus. My confidence levels have gone up a great deal and I’m even getting back into training at the gym.

I strongly recommend Provillus for anyone who is worried about hair loss or for people who are already sufferring from hair loss. There is even a formula for women which obviously I haven’t tried, but if it’s anything like the men’s version I would recommend it.

I hope this Provillus review has helped in your choice!

All the best,

Steve

  1. Terry Says:

Thanks for your review Steve. I’ve been using Procerin for about 4 months and haven’t noticed anything so I’ll switch to Provillus and let you know how I go in a few months. Thanks again, Ron

  2. Ron Says:

I’ve been using Provillus for over a year now and have had results just like yours. I waited a bit too long before I started using it so it took a bit longer for me to grow my hair back. Thanks for your review, I wish there were more people like you! I’ll order some more now because I’m nearly out

  3. Julie Says:

I’m a woman and I’ve been using the womens Provillus for about 3 months now and I want the women to know that it actually works!

Balding was a bit problem with me because it was making me depressed and a lot less confident - I didn’t want to be seen in public.

After taking Provillus for just a short amount of time I’m already seeing great results and feeling so much happier about life.

I hope this helps the women out there!

    Julie

  4. lina Says:

Hi please let me know if I could convert from scalpmed to provillus cos scalpmed price is choking me…..is it similar ingredients?

  5. Trent Says:

    Hey Lina,

Yeah, it’s a similar product but I think you’ll find Provillus will be a bit more effective than Scalpmed. I had a friend who used to use it and he converted to Provillus and got better results. Plus, you’ll save a lot of money.

  6. lina Says:

thanx trent, but will I get more hair falling again because of initial use like the first time I use scalpmed?I just worry about that, because at this moment I’m in the stage of growing ,my hair loss is stop already. If I change to provillus, it supposed to continue my hair to grow right? o ya if you know besides alcohol and minoxidil, whats other ingredient in provillus? thanx alot for answering….

  7. Trent Says:

    Hey Lina,

It’s got Vitamin B6 - deficiency in this can cause hair loss. Also Biotin which is known to keep skin and hair growth healthy. Magnesium which is necessary for hair growth.

It balances your hormones internally to stop the formation of the hormones which cause hair loss. This means your hair stops falling out and allows it to grow back normally.

I hope this has helped :)

  8. Sam Says:

I started using Saw Palmetto a while ago cos it’s cheap and it kind of slowed my hair loss I think - Now I’ve started on provillus and it’s been probably 3 months and it’s working great - My hair is actually growing back.

I just ran out so I’m going to get another 6mths.

It’s cool to see other people are having good results too!

  9. paul Says:

dear steve, did you use just the pill form of provillus or both…{pill & scalp lotion}….please let me know asap

  10. Steve Says:

    Hey Paul,

I use both the Provillus Pill and the Lotion. They work in different ways which you probably already know. I’m not sure which works best because I’ve always used them as a combined treatment.

    Hope this helps,

    Steve

  11. James Says:

    Hi
I want to try Provillus but worried that I will get my hopes up and nothing will come out of it. Does it really work? seriously is this a scam or what……please some feedback would be greatly appreicated

  12. lina Says:

hey finally i use provillus, but it makes my scalp has more dandruff , flaky alot, is anyone experience the same thing? I only try around 2 weeks, but I think it stops the hair falling, but the trouble is I can’t stand using the topical solution if it make my scalp very flaky, looks ugly…can i just use the pills?pls reply me thanx..

  13. Save My Hair Wes Says:

Glad to hear you are getting results. You can search the whole Internet and never find a hair loss product review quite so informative. Thanks for taking the time to share this information with us.

  14. Jim Says:

Does provillus target hair growth all over the scalp or just the vertex?

  15. Steve Says:

    Hey again Lina,

If you’re getting some flaky skin on your scalp it’s likely that the Minodoxil is drying your scalp. Just use a simple anti-dandruff shampoo to regain moisture and it’ll be gone in a couple of days :)

  16. Steve Says:

    Hey James,

Yeah it really works. It’s hard for people to believe that something that’s under $1000 can actually help regrow hair. Common belief is that the only way to get hair back is with a transplant, which is far from the truth.

Just try it for a couple months and see for yourself. I guarantee you’ll be a lifelong customer when you see the results.

    I hope this has helped

  17. Kabir Says:

I’m reading the reveiws. Honestly, many of them seem as if they were manufactured by Provillus. If my comment posts, then I will know that the reviews may actually be from real people.

  18. Steve Says:

Hey Kabir, I understand your skepticism. I run the site without knowing anyone from Provillus, just somewhere people can talk about their experiences.

    Cheers,

    Steve

  19. Sarah Says:

    Hi there,
I have been researching all sorts of hair loss products for my husband & have come across Provillus & this website that looks quite promising! I am in the U.K and wandered if I can purchase from here or only direct from the USA?
Also where is the best place to purchase it?

I look forward to hearing your responses
    Kind regards Sarah

  20. Steve Says:

    Hey Sarah,
You can get Provillus in the UK, but I’m pretty sure you have to order it from the US. Best place to get it is their website (Click here to visit) - shipping is quick, should only take about 3 business days.

Good luck to your husband :)

    Steve

  21. Sarah Says:

    Hey Steve,
Thanks for replying to me. I have another issue which I wouldn’t mind your help on….
On going to their website I can only seem to buy the capsules & not the lotion & when I emailed them they said ‘due to international customs we do not ship
our minoxidil topical treatment beyond U.S. borders.’
Is there any other way for me to get hold of it?? As I feel from my research that having the minoxidil (being FDA approved) in combination with the capsules will ensure this treatment works.

I look forward to your response.

    Kind regards
    Sarah

  22. Steve Says:

Hmm, that’s strange. I’m guessing they’ve had issues with customs not allowing it into the UK before so there’s nothing they can do I assume. If I were you I’d order the capules and get something similar to the Provillus Minoxidil forumula. Over here in the states we have Rogaine (also called Regaine). Another product you may want to check out is Procerin’s XT Serum (Click Here to visit) - I recall reading about Provillus and Procerin being used together with good results.

I hope this has helped :)

    Steve

  23. Steve Says:

    Sarah,

Good news… I just checked out the Procerin site and went through to the order page and they actually have a link saying “UK /EU Customers, Click Here for Faster Delivery” - So you can definitely get the Procerin XT Serum through to the UK.

    All the best,

    Steve

  24. Franco Says:

I am from CANADA …I order provillus and i was suprise how fast it got. here .. But I wanted the liquid solution and pills but I got 2 bottels of the pills… which is more effective…. so i started to take it today OCT 20/2008 and take my before pictures and in 3 months I hope to see some results.. But from what i hear provillus is only good for the top back balding crown.. the male balding pattern…. My problem is the very top of the head and the top sides.. i am thinning there and I cant even spike my hair with gel… so what I wanna know does provillus covers the whole head from top front and top back… and top sides.. pleae let me know…. cause I hear many good reviews on this product…. and is there any serious side effects….

  25. joe Says:

just order my package, i’m nervous it might not work. tried adcevia for a month.. very slow results… maybe i decided to switch to quickly?.. time will tell. I HOPE.

  26. Steve Says:

    Hey Franco,

Yeah the pills are good. I recommend ordering a couple bottles of the liquid as well if possible because it does speed results up.

Good idea with the before and after shots, it’s sometimes hard to tell if things are working when you’re seeing slow progress everyday.

I’m sure you’ll get improvement all over your head, not just the crown. I had the same problems as you and I’ve seen good results.

Lastly, there’s no side effects. A small percentage of people report getting a bit of a flaky scalp when using the liquid, but if you used an anti-dandruff shampoo or one of those dandruff combs then you don’t have to worry.

Can’t wait to hear how it goes for you!

  27. Steve Says:

    Hey Joe,

I think it was a good idea that you switched from Advecia. People do have results with Advecia, but as you said, it’s very slow. Provillus is much more powerful so you’ll see better, faster results I’m sure.

    Thanks for the comment,

    Steve

  28. Franco Says:

hey Steve thanks for the info…. I tried odering the liquid solution but it says it cant be shipped due to custom regulation..CANADA is close to the USA.. what is the problem….. I wanna try the liquid solution.. but I have no way to order it…. i guess i am stuck in the pills.. I am using NIZORAL Shampoo right now…. but for how long will keep using it…. i had an arguement with my friend he keeps telling me that prepecia is a much better product… and he keeps giving negative comments on provillus.. i told him that I know wanna have side efects of losing my sex drive and erection…anyways.. I love hearing the positive comments on Provillus

  29. Nick Says:

Hey, just reading these reviews and I must say that I am the most sceptic person out there. I have been reading a lot of reviews even in some other forums about provillus and i just wanted to know if someone can tell me if they had experience having hair growth in the other areas of the body after using provillus…..
    thank you so much

  30. Geezer Says:

I am now into my second month using provillus, and there seems to be a slight improvement. I was very sceptical but this stuff seems to work even though I’m in my forties. I will check in again after six months.

  31. Monica Says:

Hi, I’ve been doing a lot of research for products to help with hair loss. Was just wondering if there are any side effect’s when using Provillus?

  32. Steve Says:

Hey Nick, I haven’t heard any reports of growing more hair in other places apart from the head when on Provillus. I don’t think it’s possible which is a good thing lol. I used to be a skeptic too. It’d be great if you gave it a try and came back to let us know how you go. Skeptic’s always leave the most honest reviews

  33. Steve Says:

Hey Geezer, it’s great to hear you’re seeing results after only 2 months. It takes a while for people to notice results since hair grows so slowly. I can’t wait to hear how it’s going after 6 months!

  34. Steve Says:

Monica, there’s not really any side effects with Provillus. A small percentage of people say that they get a flakey scalp when they initially start taking Provillus, but it goes away pretty quick, and can be prevented by using a simple anti-dandruff shampoo. I hope this has helped :)

  35. billy,w Says:

hey steve… just wanted to know.. while on provillus, is sheddin” normal?? i”d really like to know before i try it out and start to freak out. i’ve been on advecia for two months… i still shedd hair…quite a bit. don”t know if thats normal. should i switch???

  36. Sarah Says:

We’ve just ordered 6 kits of Provillus both tablets & serum. Lets just hope the bloody stuff works!!! Anyway chaps I will let you know on our progress!!

  37. joe Says:

one last thing. when on provillus, is it normal to shedd hair?? should i worry if this starts to happen? thanks steve..

  38. lina Says:

    Hi steve,
I’m in the second month of treatment. initial used was so flaky, but now its getting less, even I didn’t use dandruff shampoo, i use the same shampoo from scalpmed, the shampoo is good.So at first a lil bit shedding, but now it seems to stop already.I’m still a bit skeptical, but still waiting the growth of more new hair…hope this stuff really make my hair thicker. but some part of the scalp still itchy and slightly flaky.

    lina

  39. Steve Says:

    Hey Bill,

Yeah I’d recommend switching over to Provillus. Advecia is less effective because it’s much more mild. It also doesn’t have success rates that are really high like Provillus, so it may just be that the Advecia formula doesn’t work in your instance. Let us know how Provillus goes! :)

  40. Steve Says:

    Hey Lina,

It’s great to hear that you’re having good results with Provillus. Let us know how your results are in a few months more - that’s when you’ll really start seeing a big difference.

  41. kvinds Says:

    THis is the truth!!!

    sides effects;

    *It makes your head itchy

*dry your scalp–you just have to take showers a lot.

    —————————————–
    GOOD NEWS:
    —————————————–

you must use the solution and the pills, it will make your hair healthier and shinier

It definately stop your hair lost–it maintains what you have.

even though it says only apply to your bald spot–you dont have to do that.

the best way to apply the solution is to apply everyhere on your head and use the comb to comb your hair so that the solution spread evenly–apply to the bald spot a little bit more of solution.

if you’re going to apply the solution before going to bed-it is best idea to wear a rag or a beanie hat on your head to avoid spreading the solution on your bed or the spread of the solution to unwanted place that you dont want to regrow hair.

  42. Drew Says:

    Dear Steve,

I’m 24, my hair is thinning. If I use this stuff, will I be able to grow my hair long??? Seeing as my fringe is not growing currently ):

    Thanks (:
    Drew

  43. Steve Says:

Hey Kvinds, thanks for the tips on how to use Provillus better. I do recall my head being a bit itchy for the first week of using Provillus, but not too bad and it went away. I guess it’s good because you know it’s working :)

    Thanks again,

    Steve

  44. Steve Says:

    Hey Drew,

Yeah, if you use Provillus, your hair will stop thinning and will start to grow back and become thicker. It takes several months however because hair grows quite slowly.

It’d be great if you could let us know how you go!

  45. Rob Says:

    Hey Steve,

I just started using Provillus for about 2 weeks now.. Am i supposed to shed some hair in begining? How long did it take for your hair to grow back (your crown area)? Does this also work with the front as well?

    Thanks

    Rob

  46. Steve Says:

    Hey Rob,

Yeah you should start seeing noticable results in about 2 more weeks and it’ll get better and better from there. It takes a couple weeks for the Provillus to kick in and block the DHT which causes the hair loss.

Let us know how you go!

  47. Rob Says:

Thanks i will post pics if its works!

  48. Rob Says:

    Steve,

Do you ever put the drops on the receding hairline at all? Just curious?

  49. Bob Says:

Hi, my hair is thinning, can i use gel while using this product? Do i use gel before or after applying the scalp solution? Also does this product make your hair smell funny?

Thank you, hope to hear from you soon.

  50. Steve Says:

    Rob,

Yeah I use Provillus to combat my receding hairline and it’s worked very well for me so I’m sure other people have had the same result.

    Hope this helps,

    Steve

  51. Steve Says:

    Hey Bob,

You can apply gel or wax or other hair products whenever you want as long as the Provillus has dried (if you’re using the Provillus serum of course). And no, Provillus doesn’t make your head smell funny, it’s odorless and I’ve never even noticed the smell.

  52. Peg Says:

I am 47 y/o & in menopause. Will provillus work for me?

  53. Rob Says:

    Steve,

Thanks I will let you know in a month…

  54. Franco Says:

HEY STEVE… is there any way i can order the liquid solution.. living in CANADA.I know they have this custom regulation that they cant ship out to CANADA or any other countries.. but you said the liquid solution is much faster then the pills…… please let me know …any way i can order it…. and one last question is there any side effect in the long run…someone warned me about any liver effect or any organ effect later in life…. i know provillus is all natural ingredients…soo I hope that its good to take it for a long term….

  55. anthony Says:

ok. ive been taking propecia for 1.5 years now. can i aslo take this product and eventually leave propecia?. does it work on the temple areas. my crown area has more then enough hair.does this product gro hair on top of head. thats my main question. because my hair is thinning really bad on top. thank you.

  56. Steve Says:

    Hey Peg,

Yeah Provillus for Women was created to suit your exact needs. Although I’m not a woman myself, I’ve had success stories emailed to me from other women. I’ll see if I can find some to post up here. If you go up to the top of the page and click the pink box of Provillus it should take you to the womens Provillus section of the site to read more.

    Hope this helps :)

  57. Steve Says:

Hey Franco, yeah, stupid customs - I don’t know why they ban everything. Anyway, if you live outside the US you can still get the Provillus pills which are really good because they combat the hair loss internally. Then as a solution to not being able to get hold of the serum, you should order the Procerin XT Serum, which can be shipped legally. It is similar to the Provillus serum so it works well in combination.

WARNING: Don’t order off eBay because the Provillus Serum wont get through customs - the eBay selling will send it, but it’ll get stopped. So I always advise ordering directly from Provillus.com :)

  58. Steve Says:

Yeah that’s how you should do it Anthony. When you start taking Provillus, lower your dosage or Propecia and eventually drop it out totally after about 1 month.

Have you been getting many bad side effects from the Propecia?

I would love to hear of your experience with it.

  59. Jon Says:

    Hi Steve,

do you start shedding first when you use provillus before growing back the hair? A lot of people has been asking.

I believed everyone is asking because that happens for Rogaine users.

I’m on Rogaine and thinking of switching to provillus. I’m also interesting about the initially shedding question.

    thx,
    Jon

  60. Steve Says:

    Hey Jon,

In my experience I didn’t get an increase in hair loss when I first started. It took about 1 week before I noticed my hair loss had stopped, and then a couple more weeks until I noticed more hair growth (fine hair), then after a couple of months the fine hair started to get thicker and stronger, it just kept improving from there.

I have heard of a few cases where people shed hair when they first start, but I think it could be just a psychological thing and they were only losing the same amount of hair as they were before Provillus, but expecting results to be instant which they obviously can’t be. You could look into it more, but in my experience it didn’t happen.

I used to use Rogaine (Regaine) as well, but decided to switch to Provillus when results slowed down. I’m glad I did because my hair has improved alot since then.

    I hope this has helped,

    Steve

  61. Jack Says:

Hi, is it okay if I just use the tablets? My hair is still in the growing stage but it is getting really thin compared to what it used to be. :(

    Thanks, let me know

  62. Saravanan Says:

    Hi Steve,

Where can get this product in Malaysia and what are the side effects?Could you help me?

    Regards,

    Saravanan

  63. Alex Says:

im about three weeks into provillus. i was just curious how long do you continue to shed hair for? thanks alot

    alex

  64. Geezer Says:

Does anyone have before and after pictures apart from Steve?

  65. Ron Says:

Does this product work on people over 40 and does it work if you have already been using rogaine?

    Thanks - Ron

  66. Jamal Says:

    Hey Steve!
I’m very skeptic about this product too. I mean, there are TONS of so called “Hair-regrowth products” on the market. And each of them are actually promising the best and unique effects and don’t have ANY or very very slow, unsatisfying effects. So, how can I trust on this one? I mean as a student I’m really LOSING money, if it doesn’t work. And there are a few people on the internet writin’ Provillus is scam. So, what to do?
    Thanks and greets

  67. Rob Says:

    Hey steve,

Should I wash my hair with shampoo everyday… What kind of shampoo should i use?

    Rob

  68. Franco Says:

hey ALEX I am on my 3 weeks with provillus and i didnt shed any hair , I have notice that not alot of hair are falling for me.. i can count how many falls . when I wash my hair with nizoral only about 4 to 5 hairs falls.. which is very good….

Geezer.. I took my before picture on OCTber 20 2008 and i am going to wait till 3 month after and take my after pictures…. but I do feel its growing…. and I had no side effects at all….

I dont have a bald spot but my hair is thinning from the front… I wonder if its the hair product that i use inthe past like hair gel, hight lights, hairspray, hair color.

  69. Franco Says:

Can anyone explain more in detail about DHT that blocks your hair roots from growing.. I heard working out in the gym causes DHT to release in the hair follicle.. Now I work out inthe gym 4 times a week and would it help my hair grow if I stop working out so that DHT doesnt occur often…. but i look around the gym .. alot of the guys have hairs only a few that are bald…. so what is the real truth about DHT and working out in the gym…

  70. blinnk Says:

    hey steve
im just 19 years old and already experiencin hair loss..u should know that it’s in the genes since my dad is bald and so was my grand dad..do u still think provillus wud work for me? if yes, which package do u think i sud order? (months)

  71. tony Says:

Can the serum be shipped to canada?

  72. nosir Says:

just started using the product a week ago , the only thing that i noticed for now is that my haed is itching after application of the liquid on my head. and i noticed warmth on top of my head ( before it used to be cold all the time) meybe that’s called dilating blood vessel how it says on the website of provillius. quess it’s starting to work , and will get back in a couple of months with resulrs…..
    good luck to you all

  73. sandy Says:

Does this product help with alopecia?

  74. Rob Says:

    Hi,

I’m 18 (male) and my hair is starting to reseed at the front. I want to try this product because its better to start as soon as you can so my hair will stop falling out.

Will this work? I dont have a bald patch at the crown of my head I’m just starting to receed like in a horseshoe shape at the front of my head?

  75. Mike Says:

    Steve,
Are you affiliated in any way with the Provillus product and/or the manufacturer and marketers of this product?

When using the topical lotion in the morning, will it be noticed by others? In other words, can people tell that you have applied a product of some sort to your scalp?

While I understand it will be different for everyone, what is the expected timeframe for usage of this product? In other words, is this something that is used until the hair grows back, or does it need to be used forever to maintain the newly grown hair?

  76. Vanessa Says:

I’d like to know that too Sandy, have been on provillus for 3 weeks now, am suffering from alopecia for 3 years now and I am now totally balled from the middle of my head to my neck….looks disgusting but luckily I have very thick long hair up the top so am able to get away without having to wear a wig yet….can someone please give us an honest answer…will it help with the alopacia disease.

  77. TJ Says:

Is Provillus like Rogaine, that once you start using it, you have to keep on using it, otherwise your hair loss will start all over again?

  78. Ben Says:

    Hi Steve

I know your propable not a scientist so you may not know this, but do u think it would be possible to use REGAINE lotion and provillius tablets? (seeing as regaine is also minoxidil)

well done for the posts other websites r bollocks

  79. Ben Says:

    p.s.

I also had another thought which i think is a very valid question or maybe just me being silly but… obviously when you use the lotion it is targeting the affectted area because that is solely where it is being applied however…. when you take the tablets how do they only target the hair on your head??? has anyone had any random hair growth??? arms??? legs??? back??? bit strange to me how it goes into your whole body but only targets 1 area???

    Please reply

  80. sam Says:

I used to have lots of hair and really thick too.I started losing hair for about more than half a year or more now,and it’s starting to depress me abit which i never thought it would happen.I have tryed ‘Regaine’which worked for my mum very well but did not worked for me at all.I have also used ’spirulina’which helped my sister very well in growing more hair but unfortunately did’nt worked for me.Not every product can work for everyone! Would like to give the capsules a try.Does anyone know if provilus have tablets(not capsules)? As capsules has gelatin on the outer layer.

Been on Provillus for 4 weeks now. I too was concerned by reading articles that expressed it was a scam and also by the HUGE claims made by Provillus.

At the moment I believe I am experiencing a shed as my hair does look thinner. However, I think the texture of my hair has improved.

I will continue with Provillus and see out my 6 months as I have nothing to lose. Propecia was a flop for me (literally) so herbs all the way. At best it will help me have a thicker scalp of hair, at worst I take a very expensive herbal supplement.

I have a thinning and receeding hair line at 26, just looking to hold onto what i have got till a ‘breakthrough’ happens.

I am combining the pills with 5% minoxidil and plan to buy a dermaroller to help it reach the follicles better.

I ACTUALLY will resubmit and let you guys know what is happening.

Stay happy, more important things than hair.

    Peace

    hi

does provillus really work because i have tried a few different products like regaine and using procerin at the moment. they have not made no difference at all. if anything worse than before. provillus is that all hype or does it really work unlike others on the market.

  83. skeptic_scorpion Says:

    Hi
I am using kirkland signature’s 5% minoxidil solution. Can I use the provillus capsules with it? Has anyone else tried this combo?
    Appreciate your response.

  84. Ray Says:

is this product better than propecia?

  85. matt Says:

I live in Ontario, and I just started a couple of days ago, I’m very excited with the words I read from this site, my hair’s been moderately thinning all over for quite sometime now so I figured time to do something about it. I have the pills and the serum and if it works, than provillus will stand to make a lot of money of me because I’ll be a customer for life.
I have one question I hope someone can answer, should I be changing my diet? Are there some foods I should or shouldn’t have? I want to make sure I cover all the bases! Thanks Matt

  86. lina Says:

    why nobody post anything lately?

  87. Steve Says:

    Hey everyone,

I have been away for a bit over a week so haven’t had a chance to answer questions. I’ll answer everyone tomorrow when I get some free time off work.

    Thanks

    Steve

  88. Josh Says:

    hi

im only 20 and ive started to notice i have been losing my hair alot when i put my fingers through it.

so i started taking procerin. i have now ordered provillus as well now that i have read all these statements.

can i take them both at the same time? and another thing in my line of work it is hard for me to use the liquid stuff, so i dont. does that matter? i really need answers i dont wont to be bald at 21.

  89. Steve Says:

    @ Ben

Yeah Regaine and Provillus tablets should be fine. Not sure if the results would be as good, but I’m sure it wouldn’t have any negative effects

  90. Steve Says:

    @ Sam

Yeah, Provillus should be good for you. I’ve talked to other guys who didn’t have success with Regaine that did well with Provillus. And as far as I know, they only come in capsule form and not tablets sorry. You can contact Provillus support and confirm if you want.

  91. Steve Says:

    @ Last Chance

Yep, sounds like it should work well for you. Usually guys shed hair because hair does just all of a sudden fall out, its actually a slow process. So when you start provillus, the typical ‘hair shed’ is just the hairs falling out that would have fallen out anyway. From there the thickness and texture improves because hair stops falling out and more starts growing.

Can’t wait to hear about your results in a few months time!

  92. Steve Says:

    @ Skeptic_Scorpion

Yep, you should be able to use any 5% minoxidil solution with the Provillus capsules - I’m not sure of anyone that’s tried it through - but if someone is, you’re bound to get a response in here :)

  93. Steve Says:

    @ Ray

YES! Provillus is much better than Propecia. Propecia has a tonne of side effects and doesn’t even work for most people. Provillus has better success rates an is way way healthier.

  94. Steve Says:

    @ Matt,

You shouldn’t need to change your diet at all. Hair loss has never been scientifically linked to diet. As long as you eat a healthy balanced diet with fruit and veggies you’ll be fine.

  95. Steve Says:

    @ Josh

The Provillus tablets should help alot, but it would be great if you could use the liquid too. You just need to put it on your scalp morning and night, it only takes a couple minutes to soak in and then you can style your hair or whatever you like.

  96. Bruce, W Says:

    Hey Bruce,

I’ve done a little research and im having a hard time deciding between provillus and procerin. i see they are pretty much the same except provillus uses minoxidil. Now i am pretty sure my hair is thinning because of poor care and physical reasons. But i just want to get it thick and growing like it was before. So my question is since rogaine’s main ingredient is minoxidil and after you stop using rogaine your hair falls back out. Does that mean that it will fall out after discontinued use of provillus???? I mean i dont want to taking this stuff forever, just to get my hair healthy again. So wouldn’t procerin be better since its all natural??

  97. Bruce, W Says:

    I mean Hey Steve

  98. Mark Says:

Has anyone had any results from just using the capsules?

  99. Wayne Says:

    @ Mark

Hey Mark, I’ve been using just the Capsule for about 4 months now and I’ve really noticed a great improvement. The first month was slow, but since then my hair fall has definitely stopped and I can notice my hair getting thicker already. I’m excited about the results and I’ll take some photos in a few months and show u how its going.

  100. Matt Says:

hi everyone, I just finished of my first month and I haven’t noticed any difference yet but I do know it does take a while because hair takes a while to grow! My scalp is also flaky but I’ve heard that a great sign cause it shows it’s working!!, one possible side a think may be related is my skin is slightly breaking out, I’m 37 thought my acne days were well behind me Lol, it may also be built up anxiety as I hope so I can regain my esteem and confidence if this works!!
another quick point I’ve notice people messaging from Canada saying there having problems getting the pills and serum, I order of an Ebay supplier and had no problems!
ok that’s it everyone, happy growing!!

  101. baldi Says:

    Hey Steve,

I’ve been using provillus capsules for 6weeks and i think i’m noticing new hair growing on the top of my head but nothing in the front which is where i really need to grow more hair. I’m in canada and couldnt get the topical solution. I read the posts on this site and you’ve recommended Franco to order the Procerin XT Serum. I think i will go ahead and order that serum combined with provillus capsules. I wanted to know if its ok to use the provillus capsules, procerin serum and nizoral shampoo all combined?

  102. Franco Says:

Im on my 2 months and a half taking provillus and yes I have notice a stop of hair.loss. but yes its a slow process if your only talking the capsule… but i feel that its working.. i cant wait to see my hair in 6 months.. and yes i did take the before picture on oct 20 so will compare it after 6 months…

  103. Elliot Says:

    Hey Steve,

I’m not wanting to be sceptical but i have come across reviews that have sung the praises of Provillus and those that say it’s a con. Your review seems very exciting as do the pictures, only something doesn’t make sense. Both picture are the same. I mean, it’s the same shirt with the collar lying exactly the same, your head in an identical position etc. The only difference is the amount of hair shown leaving me to think it’s a digitally enhanced copy of the first photo?

I would love to believe Provillus works so am more than happy to be proven wrong here.

    Cheers,
    El.

  104. Steve Says:

    Hey Elliot,

Yeah, the before and after shots are very similar - I wore the same shirt but didn’t mean for it to come up so similar, so I’ve put up a face shot below the results photo and I’m sure you’ll be able to tell its me! :)

You can see I’ve had very good results, so why wouldn’t it work just as well for anyone else. Good luck with your search and hopefully you give Provillus a go.

    All the best,

    Steve

  105. Steve Says:

    @ Baldi and Franco,

Yeah it takes a while to notice the hair growth. Partly because you’re always seeing your hair everyday, so its a good idea to take photos each month as you’ll be able to see improvements much more easily.

Keep it up and let us know how you go

  106. Mathieu Says:

    Hey Steve,

Do you have any information about what happens if you stop taking Provillus? I’m interested in starting it, as I’m losing my hair, obviously, but don’t feel like paying for it for the rest of my life. Are the results permanent or do you have to continue using Provillus even after seeing the results you want?

  107. john Says:

provillus is great…. my hair grow alot!!!!

  108. Rob Says:

    Steve,

I am on about 2 1/2 months and i am noticing improvements in my crown area… What about the Front part…. Does Provillus work on the front area?

    Rob

  109. Steve Says:

Hey Rob, yeah, it’s worked for me, but it’s slower. I think because the hair at the front grows slower maybe - not entirely sure.

  110. Steve Says:

    @ Mathieu

Unfortunately like all products like Provillus, if you stop using it, it will stop blocking the bad testosterone which causes your hair to fall out - so your hair will gradually start falling out again.

The only way to have this not happen is to wear a wig I guess :P

Provillus really isn’t that expensive though, which is good. If you buy the big package, it works out to only like $1 a day or something.

  111. brian Says:

Does anyone know if provillus works with receeding/thinning hair? I bought the 2 month pack and read the instructions which said not for frontial baldness or receeding hairline. I have read reviews and they state it does work for a receeding hairline. so basically, im confused.

  112. Matt Says:

how long should you leave the solution on your head? I find that it leaves a very greasy feel so I find I’ve been waking up at 5:30 am everyday letting the solution absorb for about an hour then I shower up and go to work, the evening application is more manageable, my question is 1 hour adequate time to let the solution absorb?

  113. Franco Says:

hey Rob.. Im on my 3 months taking provillus and my back head is covered with hair and Im takes a while for the front to grow.. a very slow process but I notice a difference… before I couldnt even style my hair with gel…. but now i can style it with gel.. ..hair is important to me and trust me i tried other products but it didnt work for me… I ve tried a product called HAIR 4 life…. and it didnt work.. well I will make another comment after my 6 months…

  114. Rob Says:

    Franco,

cool because trust me this probably my last try of regrowing my hair back because before this i spent over 10,000 on a guy that screwed me over in Chicago.. Please people Don’t go to him if you live in Chicago (Natural Hair Growth Institute) His name is Steve Bennis…. He is a Fraud… but anyways yeah i started Oct 12th and i am not happy with my results… I guess i will give it another 3 months….

  115. Omar Says:

  116. matt fullagar Says:

hi, just want to know do you take the 2 provillus capsules both at once or one in evening and morning or doesn’t it matter?
i use also caffeine shampoo in the morning and when hair dry i use minoxidil 5%. I also use propecia-have been on these for 2 months now but am 46 so not expecting fast results and will keep taking for a year to give good chance. Its hard to tell but think hair starting to thicken.

  117. Hair Loss Products That Work Says:

I have seen some success stories of this product recently. I should also give it a try, I suppose.

  118. Michael Says:

I’ve been taking propecia, minoxidil and nizoral for 2 years, I have grown small fine hairs all over my scalp but it is slow going. I’ve been patient but you would think after 2 years those hairs would have grown out longer than they have. After reading some of the comments on this site I’m thinking of ordering a 6 months supply of Provillus and replacing the Propecia read there would a risk to taking both. Before taking the big 3 as they are called I tried scalpmed and hair genesis and nothing seemed to work so I decided to take the sure thing which were the big 3. My personal opinion seems like I need something to kick start those small hairs into growing so will give Provillus a try and see what happens, I’ve added this site to my favorites and will post any positive or negative results I am having.

  119. edog Says:

    its worked

  120. Lin Says:

Hi Steve, where can I get Provillus lotion, I’ve ordered 6 months supply of provillus for woman but there are no lotions came with them.

  121. Franco Says:

I finally got the minoxidil tropical liquid solution for 2 months supply .. i had trouble ordering it due to custom regulation but I found my way to order it.. but once i finsh my 2 moths supply.. and if i stop will i start losing more hair…. cause thats what it said on the bottle… anyways please make comments about this…. thank

    Hi Steve,

    Thanks

    Steve,
Will this product work for alopecia areata? I have a half dollar sized bald spot on the nape of my neck and I have started noticing smaller areas as well. I’m using topical steroids right now (only 1 month) Can I use the Provillus and topical clobetasol together?

  124. Matt Says:

    Hi,

I have seen lots good reviews about provillus; I have used scalpmed for sometime and quit. At present I am not using anyting past one year and now trying to get something like scalpmed but I am planning to try to provillus this time.

Can anyone tell if I use provillus, what common side effects are tehre? will that effect on sex? Or any other major concerns? Provillus use the same ingridents as scalpmed?

I want to use spray only; is it necessary/must to use pills to get results?

    Thanks and appreciate your answers.
